POLICIES

By booking an appointment, you are agreeing to follow the policies below. Please take the time to read this before booking your appointment, and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you!

CONSULTATIONS

  • I charge a $45 consultation fee.

  • Consultations are mandatory for all new clients before receiving any services.

  • Photographs will be taken to monitor treatment effects.

  • I may consider using your photographs for advertising or promotional purposes. If I do, I will always ask for your consent prior to your photos being used.

HEALTH INFORMATION

  • I will be asking you some questions regarding your health history. This is for your safety, my safety, as well as the safety of all of my clients. I ask that you please be honest in answering these questions. If there are any questions that you are uncomfortable with answering, please let me know.

  • Please inform me at the start of every visit if you are under any new prescribed medical or over-the-counter oral or topical treatments, or have been diagnosed with any new illnesses or injuries.

  • Please reschedule your appointment if you have a contagious illness or disease. Feel free to check with me if you are unsure about rescheduling.

APPOINTMENTS

  • All clients must complete and sign all required forms before services can begin.

  • Pricing will not be adjusted for reduced service time due to late arrival.

  • I will not be able to extend our appointment time if you arrive late.

  • If you arrive later than 15 minutes into your appointment time, your appointment will be cancelled or rescheduled with applicable charges.

RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATIONS

  • Please provide me with a 24 hour notice of any schedule changes or cancellation requests.

  • My online booking system sends out email reminders 48 hours in advance, as well as email and text reminders 24 hours in advance.

  • Notification given at least 24 hours prior to your appointment will receive no charges.

  • Notification given less than 24 hour prior to appointment time will result in a cancellation charge. You will be charged 50% of the service fee for the first missed session and 100% of the service fee for each session after that.

  • Failure to show up for your appointment will result in a 100% charge of the reserved service amount.

  • Clients cancelling more than two consecutive times may be billed for the entire service and/or required to pre-pay in order to be rescheduled.

  • I reserve the right to require a credit card number to be given to book future appointments so that appropriate fees may be charged if a late cancellation does occur.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

  • I use Square to process my payments. Square is a secure service that works with any US-issued and most internationally-issued magstripe or chip cards bearing a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, or UnionPay logo. I also accept cash.

  • Full payment is always due at the time of service.

  • Prices are subject to applicable taxes and are subject to change.

  • Clients should always verify prices before beginning a service.​

  • All bookings over 2 hours must be secured with a credit card.

  • I offer installment plans through Square for purchases over $250. To see an example of what the process is like to apply for an installment plan, please click here: https://squareinstallments.com/demo/apply (My clients who have used this service have said the the sign-up process is easy, that the terms are very transparent, and that there are no fees for paying off the installment plan early.)

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

  • All products are sold as brand new and for personal use only. I cannot give refunds on any products sold to due to personal hygiene and health and safety reasons. 

  • If you are uncertain about how your skin may react to a new product, please ask for a sample of a product before buying the full retail size.

  • If you have had a treatment that you are unsatisfied with, please contact me immediately. I cannot give refunds on any treatments, but I will look into your concerns immediately.

  • Unfortunately, I am unable to issue returns or reimburse any payment transactions on series of treatments that have been purchased. I will exchange them for you for other services of equal value or credit of equal value.

FOR BEST RESULTS...

  • Please keep expectations realistic and know that results are not guaranteed.

  • For maximum results, more than one treatment is often required. Many changes may occur deeper within the skin over time.

  • The rate of improvement is highly dependent on your age, skin type and condition, degree of sun and environmental damage, health and lifestyle, genetic traits, and your willingness to follow recommended protocols.

  • Be aware that very rarely, permanent damage may occur.

  • Following my recommendations for home care will yield the best results. It is especially important for minimizing or eliminating possible negative reactions, including adhering to a sunscreen and avoiding the sun/tanning booths and extreme weather conditions.

  • In the event that you may have additional questions or concerns regarding your treatment program or suggested home care regimen, please consult me as soon as possible.
